Pepper and Onion Jelly with Dark Cherries

Preparation Instructions:
Step 1
Thaw cherries and peppers and onions according to package instructions. Chop cherries.
Step 2
In a large saucepan, combine the cherries, peppers and onions, sugar, and apple cider vinegar. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture begins to simmer. Stir in the red pepper flakes. Taste and adjust the spice level to your preference.
Step 3
Bring the mixture to a rolling boil over high heat. Add the liquid pectin, stir well, and boil for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly. Allow the mixture to cool before service.
