Decadent Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich

Sometimes, a simple PB&J really hits the spot. But why not make the classic a little fancier and more sophisticated with toasted Brioche, berries, and a made-from-scratch blueberry drizzle?
Preparation Instructions:
Step 1
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine 1/4 cup blueberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Stir and cook until the blueberries release their juices, about 3–5 minutes. Mash the blueberries slightly with a fork or spoon to create a jam-like texture. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water together. Add the cornstarch mixture to the saucepan and stir until the drizzle thickens, about 1 minute. Remove from heat and let cool.
Step 2
Lightly toast the slices of bread for a slight crunch. Spread the peanut butter evenly on one slice of bread. Sprinkle raspberry crumbles generously over the peanut butter. Layer the blueberries evenly on top. Drizzle a bit of honey or maple syrup over the berries if desired for extra sweetness. Place the second slice of bread on top to complete the sandwich.
Step 3
Drizzle the prepared blueberry jam over the top of the sandwich. Sprinkle additional raspberry crumbles over the jam drizzle. Garnish with a few whole blueberries for a vibrant finish. Slice the sandwich in half for a beautiful cross-section.
